Procedures

Over 11 years of experience, we have witnessed that many local and international patients, who applied to our hospital, were psychologically depressed as they tried every single method that caused a loss of time without giving results. More than 3000 Bariatric Surgery patients left our hospital pleased and started a new life, which is for us a source of joy and pride. In our health group, we have managed to make our patients, who were not satisfied with the results of previous operations in other clinics and even experienced various post-operative complications, reach a happy ending by eliminating their problems with Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric By-Pass and Gastric Balloon surgeries. Before and after all bariatric surgery operations, our expert dietitian, psychologist and counselors give special attention to our patients and ensure them to confidently start their new lives. In addition, we believe in the importance and necessity of supporting and following our patients, who are considered as members of our family, after their operations.

SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY

Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery is performed with laparoscopic (closed) method and under general anesthesia. It is the most common bariatric surgery method especially of recent time period. This procedure is basically creating a sleeve-shaped stomach by removing the outer side of it, starting at a distance about 2 cm from the end of stomach, pylorus, to the esophagus with special tools. In our hospital, all operations are performed with high level of safety and the operation section is strengthened with special materials twice in all patients. Suture (simple stitches) and no long-term adverse effects made the procedure the most preferred method of surgery.

GASTRIC BY-PASS

In the first step, the stomach is divided into two pieces just below the esophagus to reduce its volume. The upper small stomach is connected to the small intestine brought from below into the chamber. With Gastric By-pass, it is intended to reduce both the person’s eating and the absorption of the food.

GASTRIC BIPARTITION

Metabolic surgery is a type of surgery performed on people with parameters such as type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and increased abdominal circumference..

GASTRIC BOTOX

is one of the new treatments for obesity. By restricting the contraction of the abdominal muscles, the digestion and depletion of the stomach is delayed, thereby achieving a reduced appetite of the patients.

Type II diabetes mellitus patients, who are not able to control their blood sugar with standard treatment methods and who have high blood sugar related organ damage, are treated surgically. In Type II Diabetes Surgery operations, the stomach volume is reduced and the food intake is minimized. A new path is created between the stomach and intestines for consumed food to pass through. Thus, food is provided to reach the last part of the small intestine earlier. It is intended to decrease insulin resistance by inhibiting satiety hormones, such as GLP-1, and preventing the patient from over – eating. The mean time of the surgery, which is performed as laparoscopic (closed), is 2 hours. The patients can mobilize easily on the same day. They can be discharged in 4 – 7 days and continue their daily lives. Since blood glucose control will be ensured regularly, the need for drugs for insulin and other diabetes medications is completely eliminated in the patients who are evaluated correctly with the help of preliminary interview and pre-operative examinations.
