Gynecomastia or “men’s boobs” is observed in men who have excess growth of fat tissue or glandular tissue in the breast area due to increase in the hormones in this area. What Are the Types of the Surgery ?
Male breast reduction, or Gynecomastia involves the removal of excess fat or muscular tissue from the male breast. The procedure gives a flatter and firmer look to the breasts and makes it seem more masculine. Proper diet and exercise can often reduce female-like breasts among overweight men. However, genetic predisposition, hormone disorders or the use of certain medication can develop breasts in even the slim men and surgery might be their only option. Most often, male breast reduction takes place through incisions, made around the nipple area. The location of the incision can be decided by the patient. It can be located along the edge of the areola or within the armpit. The length of the incision is based on your anatomy. This is followed by liposuction that sucks out excess fat from the breasts. With liposuction assisting the surgery, there are less chances of blood loss, nipple distortion and areola slough (sagging of areola) that may look unappealing.

The thickening operation is performed after removing the fat from the pubic area by liposuction. The lipid tissue is processed with special devices and the fat is injected on to the penis in order to give more girth. This injected fat is %80- 90 permanent and this %10-%20 possible fat loss is considered by the experienced doctor before making the injections. Since it is an aesthetic operation only, the penis enlargement operation does not have any side effects on the functionality of the penis itself such as erection, premature ejaculation or infertility. Only a few weeks of non sexual activity is recommended. Please don’t forget that this operation should be performed by experienced physicians and medical team only.
